Quality Matters

Quality Policy

Johnson Precision, Inc, through the teamwork and dedication of its employees, will continually strive to  meet or exceed the demands and expectations of its customers and continually pursue the commitment to  provide quality and value in its mold making and injection molding areas.

Quality Certifications

JPI operates under the guidelines of its ISO 9001 registration.  Click here for copies.

Quality Equipment

Consistent quality can only be achieved when dedicated individuals skillfully utilize the best tool for each task. In the Quality Department, everything from basic pin gages to a fully automated Micro-Vu Vertex 410 Vision System with magnification capabilities up to 224X are in service making sure that manufacturing stays on target with customer requirements.

Manufacturing Environment

JPI maintains an ISO 9001 registered quality system to ensure that all operations are performed in a controlled manner to effectively meet customer requirements.

JPI’s injection/insert molding and secondary assembly processes are  performed in a Type II environment suitable for our many medical and high-tech electronic customers with need for stringent particulate and bio-burden control.

Our tools are run in both automated and operator-assisted modes.  In both modes, parts are typically ejected into or placed in covered containers or controlled environments.  Parts are then moved through the final stages of processing enclosed in medical grade bags.

HEPA filtered ionized air cleaning stations are often used just prior to final packaging in double bags to minimize loose particulate and to ensure that customer requirements for cleanliness are met.

Final inspection validates the effectiveness of cleaning and manufacturing processes as a last stage before shipment.

Portable HEPA filter systems and a clean room final packaging area with a positive flow HEPA filter air filtration system are also available on a customer and device-need basis.

The clean room is presently being used for multiple applications.  Medical products packaged there, per customer specification, are being shipped directly to class 10,000 clean rooms for subsequent processes.
